Growing up, what did you think you were going to be? So many girls dream of being a ballerina. What was the dream for you?
I thought I was going to be a doctor when I was growing up.
How did you get started? What made you decide "this" is what I'm doing?
What made me do what I am doing now is due to my personal life and experiences. My journey includes my studying Health Social Care in college. Joined that with my love to serve God.
You wear many hats. What would you say is the main function and purpose of your work? Who do you help or assist most?
The point of my business is to make a positive impact, as I exist, and make people glow with my products and other services; especially women who feel less then others because of life difficulties.
What advice would the person you are today give to the person you were when you started?
You can always repeat, start and focus again because you are alive, remembering that we learn everyday.
Can you name a person who has had a tremendous impact on you as a leader? Why and how did this person impact your life/strengthen your faith?
The person of Jesus and my husband, because Jesus fixed my life by using my husband to ignite the good that was hidden in me.
Sometimes when an organization gets larger there can be a tendency for the “passion” to to wain– how do you keep this from happening?
I keep this from happening by praying, sticking to my goals, vision, aim, and discipline.
Tell us three things you do in your daily life that have contributed to a better life.
I Pray, say affirmations, and encourage others.
This issue is about believing even when others dont. What does #mindsetmatters mean to you?
#MindsetMatters means to me, the way I think and perceive things.
The way I treat my own mind when negative thoughts knock at my door and conquer the battle of the mind that involves mental health.
